Saint Island International Patent & Law Offices is primarily engaged in the practice of intellectual property laws. Our practice includes trademark and patent prosecution, litigation, and other matters relating to intellectual property. We have four branch offices in four major cities of Taiwan to serve local clients, and an international department which primarily deals with foreign cases, including filing patent and trademark applications in Taiwan for our foreign associates and clients, and consolidating patent and trademark applications from branch offices for filing in foreign countries.
We place equal emphasis on our domestic and international practices and, for the past years, have been able to maintain a balance between our domestic and foreign business activities.
Currently, we have about 320 staff members. Of the 320 members, approximately 39% are professionals in the field of patent; about 26% are professionals in the field of trademark; about 6% are specialists in litigation; and about 9% are language professionals. Besides, 31% have seniority of 15 years or more, and 15% have seniority of 10 to 15 years. Members who have been with this firm for 5 to 10 years take up about 20%.
With the support of our domestic and foreign clients, as well as our foreign associates, the firm continues to grow and thrive. Today, the firm is one of the leading intellectual property law firms in Taiwan.
